This was the first time I’d rented rather than stay in a hotel in Montparnasse. I will be renting from now on. The Edouard Jacques apartment has everything one needs for a short or extended stay. It is in a quiet area (for Paris) and near many places to eat or buy food. Very convenient to the Gare Montparnasse as well as the Metro and busses. Easy walk up one floor. The apartment feels more spacious than the photos. We have stayed in Hotel Aiglon (4 stars) previously, and this is my choice from now on.
We loved staying in Studio Edouard Jacques! The location was great, and it was also a great place to stay. We really liked being able to walk around Pernetty and enjoy the variety of restaurants.

Just a quick note to tell you how nice the Studio Eduard Jacques was. We enjoyed the neighborhood. We felt safe there, and it was quiet! The king-sized bed was AWESOME! We slept very well each night after running out little feet off all day.
After eating out a couple of days, we opted to go to the market and get some food items for breakfast, as well as some sandwich supplies…. It worked out great!
One of our favorite places to hang for happy hour was Au Metro right across the street from Pernety Station. The people were very nice. We found everyone in Paris to be very nice and helpful!

We had a wonderful trip touring Paris. The Edouard Jacques studio was our home away from home. Located in a friendly neighborhood, there are markets, restaurants, bakeries, and shopping nearby. Conveniently, metro stops and the bus terminal are very close by as well. The studio is a small, quaint place but very comfortable, charming and efficient. We would definitely stay there again or recommend it to a friend.

>We returned last evening after spending a wonderful five weeks in France, four of them in the Edouard Jacques Studio. The studio met all of our needs perfectly. It was quiet, convenient, well kept, and a pleasant place to spend time.
A couple of thoughts for your concierge book:
CDG – 3, rue Edouard Jacques: We can recommend the shuttle from Paris Airport Service (parisairportservice.net) or 01 -55 -98 -10 -80. It was 32 euros for both of us, and is door to door. Because others may be in the six passenger van, it may take a few minutes longer than a taxi, but it is much less expensive. We have used it successfully three times.
We, of course, found our favorite park. It’s the small park on rue Loesserand across from the bus #58 bus stop – no more than 100 meters from the studio. It’s quiet, close, and private; it seems to get little use. Its name is Le Jardin de Moulin du Trois Comets.
