>Menerbes was just about perfect!

>We enjoyed our stay in Menerbes at the Fountain View House very much. It was a pleasure to spend a week there and feel attached to the village. Everyone was very welcoming, and after visiting many of the villages in the area, we concluded that Menerbes was just about perfect. We also had the good fortune to have a week of perfect weather.

>We have just returned from an amazing holiday in Provence! Just a short note to let you know that we had a most enjoyable stay in the Old Stone House and were rather sorry to leave after just one week! The village folk were so friendly and accommodating – our last evening’s meal to celebrate a family birthday was one of the best meals we have ever had. The early morning visit to the butchery and the daily croissant orders made the reality of small town living a real prospect to consider. The amount of steps to climb is a winner to staying slim, trim, and young! We watched A Good Year again last evening just to have another look at one amazing part of the world. We took thousands of photographs so will be re-living our holiday for years to come.

>We returned to Canada from France on June 18 jet lagged. Our 10 week time in France was all we had hoped, and our time in Menerbes was most memorable. The Old Stone House was a great place to stay. Your English neighbor across the street was very kind and helpful!

We had a wonderfully-relaxing week at the Fountain View House in Menerbes. It was cold for few days, so we just stayed in the warmth and comfort of the house. We enjoyed our drives and walks to most of the “villages perches” in the area even though most places were closed, and there were just a few people on the streets.


Thanks again and a la prochaine fois – perhaps in New Orleans this time.

>We had such a lovely honeymoon, thanks to Historic Rentals and the suites in Annecy, Menerbes, and Bourgueil. We especially loved our vineyard tour with Jean-Pierre! We will recommend it all highly, and will hopefully return soon!
