Thank you for such an amazing place to stay!

I was lucky enough to stay in Historic Rentals’ Botanica suite in New Orleans for two weeks over Christmas 2012. It was a perfect home away from home. The location is ideal, right in the French Quarter, but a few blocks away from all the madness so it’s quiet and has a safe, residential feel.

The suite itself is so comfortable, with all the amenities to make a longer stay comfortable. I loved having a kitchen for breakfasts. George, one of the owners, greeted me on the night I arrived, and provided a wealth of information on great places for a solo traveler. Robert, who maintains the property, even dropped by every few days to check if I needed anything. When I had one small maintenance issue he came by immediately and took care of it. I loved my apartment in the French Quarter. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else and can’t wait to go back.

The Rue du Chateau suite is in a perfect location to visit Paris.

The apartment on Rue du Chateau is in a perfect location to visit Paris.  It is very close to the Pernety metro station which give you easy access to all of Paris,  the RER station Denfert Rochereau which provides an inexpensive service to Charles de Gaulle airport, and the wonderful market on Rue Daguerre. It is also a 1/2 block from an excellent bakery.

The apartment is in easy walking distance to Les Frangines bistro (The Franprix is located right across the street), Le Petit Baigneur (which, in my estimation, is one of the better restaurants in Paris), and L’assiette. There are also several Turkish places along Rue Raymond Losserand that are really cheap and good if all you want is a sandwich and fries and a glass of wine. The suite is also within easy walking distance to the Montparnasse Tower which has the most amazing views of Paris.

The apartment was great. Completely furnished and very clean. Just perfect. Free phone service back to the US. Free internet (very fast). Could not ask for more.

We had a WONDERFUL time this year in the Slave Quarter Suite!

We had a WONDERFUL time this year in the Slave Quarter Suite! What started out as one little trip 7 years ago (to help rebuild after hurricane Katrina by spending some $) has turned into a yearly event that I VERY much anticipate!

Thanks so much!

We had a fabulous week in New Orleans

We had a fabulous week in New Orleans. The location of the Rooftop suite is perfect, as it is not so close to Bourbon Street and all its craziness to disturb your guests, yet it is close enough to walk anywhere in the Quarter easily.

The addition of the digital locks helped immensely, as we encountered a significant delay in our arrival due to airplane problems. It was very convenient not having to worry about keys while we were there.

The unit, being the top unit, is also very quiet. Some might not like the stairs but for those of us who are able, they are of no concern. If we are able to have a third visit to the Big Easy, we will stay in the Rooftop suite again.

If we have an opportunity to visit France, we will check your units first.

We had a wonderful time at the Slave Quarter suite in the French Quarter.

We had a wonderful time at the Slave Quarter suite in the French Quarter.

The place was perfect with comfortable chairs for relaxing, a good bed, and a lovely patio outside to read and drink coffee. The location was absolutely perfect for seeing everything in the French Quarter and beyond.

On top of that, it was quiet at night – even though the place is not far from Bourbon Street, which was not quiet. I enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony right outside the bedroom overlooking the patio.

George was a helpful host, and showed us the place when we arrived.

Your Cluny suite apartment, our home away from home, was wonderful.

Thank you for your help and advise prior to our visit to Paris. Your Cluny suite apartment, our home away from home, was wonderful. The neighborhood and the many friendly people we met there are a part of our mosaic memoir.

One of our favorite delights was visiting the market on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday to discover fresh produce unknown to us, and which made for many delicious meals.

We also liked sleeping in the “the cave.” In fact, the day after we visited Versailles, we felt like doing nothing, so we spent one whole glorious day there!

You run a business like a business, which you should take as a high compliment. Not surprisingly, you were right about taking half the clothes and twice the money.

Jean-Pierre was a fine ambassador for you, and most helpful when we had questions. The apartment was also maintained splendidly.

Hopefully we’ll be able to return, and will certainly recommend others to you. Thank you for your hospitality.

We very much enjoyed the Rosiers suite!

We very much enjoyed the Rosiers apartment. The bed was wonderful, the books provided were a big help to us, and the kitchen couldn’t have been nicer. Even the fresh flowers were a nice touch. We will heartily recommend the Rosiers apartment to others!
