>We enjoyed our stay in Menerbes at the Fountain View House very much. It was a pleasure to spend a week there and feel attached to the village. Everyone was very welcoming, and after visiting many of the villages in the area, we concluded that Menerbes was just about perfect. We also had the good fortune to have a week of perfect weather.

It was great to see areas that we otherwise wouldn’t have ventured to. We have a saying in Australia, “a man’s home is his castle.” In your case it is true. We will hold many fond memories, especially the view from the Vineyard suite.

We had a wonderful time at the Chateau and are already thinking about a return trip. The cycling was fabulous, so little traffic, and the vineyard and river views were beautiful. The bicycle shop owner was really nice and very easy to work with. We will forward some of our pictures to you. We were able to do a very quick trip into the Tuesday market before we had to check out, and we were duly impressed. Next visit, we will try again to arrive on a Monday so we can over indulge ourselves in the market offerings.
